Summary

A computer display that you wear on your glasses

Abstract

Mark Spitzer will describe MicroOptical's progress on the development of a wearable computer display. The innovative features of the display are the incorporation of the display in eyeglass temples, and the optical viewing system in the eyeglass lens. This technology promises the full integration of a computer monitor in conventional, prescription eyeglasses. MicroOptical also has developed a monitor that clips onto a user's existing eyeglasses. In addition to a short talk, Mark will provide demonstrations of beta products.
